If meeting/eating can happen in the same space and you don't need to flip the room, the lower level of Lafayette is a nice option: https://www.lafayetteny.com/
Midtown Loft & Terrace might be an option
Try Black Barn and Marta - they generally have space for larger groups!
@EventPlanner451 check out this website- also it's woman owned 🙂 https://www.blace.com/
@EventPlanner451 I've also been on the hunt for 150+ dinner/social venues in NYC and here are a few I've found with buyout options. Most of these are restaurants so like Matt noted above they'll only work if you don't need to flip the space.
1. Blackbarn (160)
2. Lafayette (150, in the cellar, not a full buyout)
3. Bottino (150)
4. The Press Lounge @ Ink48 Hotel (100)
5. The Fulton (crazy expensive but seats 150)
6. Peak (event space, though I think they provide catering, 300)
7. Manhattan Manor (event space, 250)
8. Hav & Mar (120)
9. Peasant (120)
10. Manhatta (multiple room options that could fit 120+)
11. Freemans (140)
@EventPlanner451 oh and Taralucci et Vino might also have a space that could fit with separate meeting area, they have multiple options around the city. (I've used them a few times, [email hidden] is my contact, you can let her know I referred you if you reach out)
@EventPlanner233 - thanks so much! Super helpful. I need a space that can do a keynote with custom stage + additional space for the meals. Are these just one space only, or do they have separate spaces for meet/feed?
@EventPlanner451 I think Manhatta & Manhattan Manor might be your best bet for 2 distinct spaces. Peak has one giant 3500 sq ft room, which would allow for chairs in front of a stage + eating area, but it'd be the same room. Taralluci e Vino definitely has a couple locations with multiple rooms, but not sure if they could do a stage. All the other options are restaurants so I don't think they'd have the capability of putting in a stage.
@EventPlanner451 a bit late to this thread but these folks have pretty amazing spaces in varying sizes, styles, etc https://www.cocoonflexspaces.com
They’re a bit less corporate looking but there is such a wide variety in their options
Wow these spaces look amazing @EventPlanner564, thank you for sharing the link
I don’t know him _really_ well, but let Eduard Monteagudo I sent you if you do get in touch
Here's another one -- had a recent site visit with them https://www.bathhousestudios.com/

Hi! Does anyone know of any impressive private dining rooms for just 20 ppl in NYC? Its a bit smaller than I'm used to planning for and everything I'm thinking of is way too big. Thinking somewhere with great views (Columbus Circle, Hudson Yards) with an equally impressive dining room and F&B. Open to Brooklyn too.
Hello hello! I’m wondering if anyone has a FAVOURITE place to host private dinners, with AV capabilities, for 16-20 people in NYC.
Hey all! Any thoughts on very new/trendy/buzzy restaurants in NY for a private dinner of 12ish to celebrate my CEO/founder's birthday on Mon, Jan 23?

Hi all! Has anyone done an event at Dear Irving on Hudson? My org turns 30 in 2024 and we are looking for a spectacular venue for a cocktail party to celebrate. Considering Manhatta, too, but founder has some concerns it is too far from Midtown. Open to other suggestions!!!
Happy new year everyone! 🎉 I'm searching for a private space (likely a restaurant) in NYC that can host a dinner for 10, and also has a TV in the space for a business presentation. Any recs would be so appreciated!
Hi there - wondering if anyone has a few favorite spots in NYC that can do ~20 people at one table?

Hi! Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants in NYC (specifically Soho or West Village) that can seat 20 people for dinner? Trying to find a spot where people won't be stuck at a table(s) and can get up, walk around and talk to everyone at the dinner party.

Any high-end, NY lunch spot recommendations for 18 - 20 with a TV for a presentation? Hoping to stay within the Financial District and SOHO. The trifecta of location + AV + super nice really has me stumped. Thank you in advance!
