About a year ago we were invited on a trip to Morocco with a group of event planners to tour their exquisite properties. We were brought on board to provide a unique and engaging experiences each day to allow the guests to connect with each other in new ways. During one luncheon, we designed a really fun, interesting and lighthearted exercise — a decision tree. The decision tree started, “If I could I would...” and as you made your choice from the provided options, you were guided to the next question. After answering the 10 questions along your path you arrived at a letter at the bottom. Over lunch discussed their choices and their curiosity behind what the letters meant. It wasn’t until dessert that the host revealed their meaning. He first called all of the “B’s” to stand up. B was for “blue” which represented a set of personality traits. Hilarity ensued. To hear the things that connected the guests to one another was fun for everyone and a unique way to engage people.
