OnePlus and T-Mobile brought wider 5G coverage to the USA. To celebrate the extensive network, along with the launch of the 5G capable 8T phone, OnePlus opened its very first US Pop-Ups complete with T-Mobile 5G coverage. We took completely raw shipping containers and transformed them into chic, sophisticated and sleek Pop-Up retail stores. The result was an incredibly show stopping feature for all of the content that would later be pushed out on social media. Strategically placed in unidentified, remote and rural locations, the OnePlus Pop-Ups creatively showed just how wide T-Mobile 5G coverage truly is throughout the US. The criteria for these locations was very specific and required a detailed location scout. Although the campaign lived online, the IRL aspect of the Pop-Ups made for incredible content capture that was used throughout the campaign. We also created a microsite specific to the Go Farther program that included an interactive map along with photos and videos of the Pop-Ups. A social media scavenger hunt encouraged consumers to visit the website and participate in the online contest - to guess where the Pop-Ups were located. Individuals were able to guess on the map where the Pop-Ups were located for a chance to win a variety of prizes.
