Overview
From Design Mode
This New Year’s Eve space was designed as a high style 1970s inspired lounge, blending retro glamour with a modern, elevated edge. Rich, saturated tones of rust, amber, and deep red set the foundation, layered with warm lighting and plush textures that immediately transported guests into a disco era atmosphere.
The room featured sculptural lounge furniture with curved silhouettes, low profile seating, and tactile fabrics that nodded to classic 70s design. Zebra print rugs, velvet ottomans, and statement upholstery added visual rhythm and depth throughout the space. Custom vignettes were styled with vintage inspired décor, playful patterns, and layered accessories that felt collected rather than themed.
A real record player spinning vinyl served as both a functional and nostalgic focal point, reinforcing the authenticity of the era and adding an intimate, lived in energy to the lounge. Overhead pendant lights and warm ambient lighting cast a golden glow across the space, enhancing the cozy, late night feel.
Bold floral moments in sunset tones of orange, coral, and pink added freshness and contrast, tying the retro palette together while keeping the design feeling current. Every element was intentionally layered to create an immersive lounge that felt expressive, glamorous, and perfectly suited for ringing in the New Year.
