MongoDB.local San Francisco brought together founders, developers, AI researchers, and engineering leaders for a full-day summit focused on building and scaling AI-powered applications — and The Midway served as the conference campus. To support the scale of the AI summit, MongoDB expanded beyond the interior footprint of the venue. In addition to The Midway’s Patio and rooftop Observatory, the team secured a permitted street closure, transforming the front of the venue into an extended outdoor commons. Lounge seating, open-air networking, lunch service, and the closing reception created space for meaningful connection between sessions. The result was a San Francisco tech conference that felt open, immersive, and intentionally paced — not confined to a single ballroom. The Midway was fully customized, integrating MongoDB brand colors and lighting, stage design, signage, café elements, and wayfinding throughout the campus environment. The experience extended from registration to reception, creating a cohesive branded atmosphere across every room and outdoor venues.
