Overview
From Byron Mapp
Led cinematic video coverage and visual storytelling for a community-focused event hosted in partnership with PJ’s Coffee House. My role included planning the visual approach, capturing authentic guest interactions, documenting the atmosphere of the gathering, and translating real-world moments into structured brand storytelling content. The goal was to highlight community connection, local engagement, and the experience created by the host organization while maintaining a professional and documentary-style aesthetic. Worked independently to manage on-site production, including camera operation, audio capture, and scene composition while adapting to a live event environment. Focused on capturing natural energy, meaningful conversations, and moments that reflect brand trust and community presence. Delivered footage designed for digital promotion, social media storytelling, and long-term visual assets that support ongoing engagement and brand visibility. This project emphasized authentic storytelling over staged content, allowing the event’s purpose and community impact to remain at the center of the visual narrative.
