About

Welcome to RIS, a beloved, upscale seasonal American neighborhood restaurant created by Chef/Owner Ris Lacoste. Nestled in the heart of Washington DC's West End, we are neighbors to the Kennedy Center, Dupont Circle, Georgetown and the K Street business district. Chef Ris' farmers market fresh menus change often to showcase year round local offerings. Her inventive, creative style reflects the seafood of her New England roots, the classics of her Paris training, the freshness of her market obsession and the tradition and familiarity of her love for classic American Diner fare. Our menus have something for everyone. Our curated cocktails and hand selected wine list by John Herbert and our gracious and welcoming staff complete the perfect dining experience.
