Eris Brewery and Cider House

ERIS is a Chicago-based, woman-owned, and -operated business inspired by the Greek goddess of Chaos. Built on 1910 as a Masonic Temple, the building underwent a substantial 20-month renovation. The renovation entailed significant structural changes in order to accommodate commercial use. The interiors incorporate raw materials salvaged from the building, including radiators, structural wood, and steel. With massive windows flanking each side of the dining room, the result is a breathtaking space, uniquely ERIS yet still paying homage to the original architecture.
