The Black Cypress

Exposed brick walls, warm woods and low-lighting make The Black Cypress the perfect place for a romantic date, whereas the bar makes it a great place for friends to gather as they laugh and talk over their favorite choice of beer and select drinks. Try the lamb chops, roasted chicken, rib eye steak or tofu options from the grill and skillet. We have extensive experience catering for events in Pullman and Moscow. Catering menus are available upon request, and special requests are happily accommodated. On-site catering options are also available, with options for renting out either half or the entirety of our restaurant. We can provide dishes from our regular menu, or pull from our specialized catering menu. We opened hoping to create a venue reflecting the qualities of our region that keep us here — goodwill, self-sufficiency, solidarity: generally, an understanding that time is precious and seems to be best spent with friends and family, connected with the land we live on, the community we live within, with minimal fuss, a healthy regard for the ridiculous, and a deep appreciation for good, honest food, company, and drink.
