Atrio

A central hall or courtyard in a modern building, with rooms or galleries opening off it, often glass-covered. At the heart of our home lies a warm atrium that is covered by a large skylight, which allows natural light to filter into our space. The ground is covered in gravel, which gives the courtyard a natural feel. Plants are placed all around, adding greenery and a pop of color. Finally, a hanging wicker chandelier, handmade in Mexico, adds a touch of artisanal craftsmanship and authenticity to the room. The room contains two large seating booths on each end, with café trottoir-style seating in between.
