About
Brasserie Saison opened in 2017 as a classic brasserie drawing on inspiration from France and Belgium. While the word “Brasserie” translates to brewery, it commonly refers to a local neighborhood restaurant. It was a great way for Champion Brewing to introduce its first restaurant to Charlottesville. We wanted to create a place where people could stop by for anything they want on a given day. Whether a quick beer from our taplist during a weekend lunch, an evening cocktail on the patio, or some wine and classic brasserie fare for dinner, all while being on Charlottesville’s historic Downtown Mall.
