About

Upon entrance, guests are transported to a sphere of sheer refinement and spirit sophistication where one of the most impressive assemblages of Scotch in America is gloriously ensconced in the eloquent Federal Street enclave. Chef David Kneller’s experience embraces cultured classics with a twist—together with The Stewart’s high design and distinguished wine and spirits list making for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. An elegant evening progresses in an atmosphere of updated and distinguished Highland splendor: gleaming dark woods, handsomely refurbished period seating, gilt-framed oil paintings of Highland scenes, an intricately pargeted plaster ceiling, and, naturally, tartans galore. A crackling fire in the cooler months provides cozy ambient undertones within an 18th century walnut and brass trumeau chimney. Against a dramatic backdrop of book-matched marble behind the brass-clad bar, Speyside meets Highland, Lowland, Islay, and beyond in The Stewart’s celebrated collection, which comprises a splendid representation of Scotland’s unique and storied terrain – from Gordon & MacPhail 1950 Speymalt MaCallan [Speyside] to Glenmorangie Pride 34 Year Old [Highland] to a 1954 Glen Grant, among dozens more of remarkable rarity and value.
