The White House is a new generation of lifestyle accommodation located by Lake Windermere, in the heart of The Lake District. Offering a room only service, this grade II listed building was one of the first properties to be built in Bowness-on-Windermere, and we have spent months carefully renovating it into a stylish, contemporary retreat for the modern traveller, whilst keeping its historical features intact. The White House has 12 beautifully appointed, unique rooms and one sumptuous cottage.
