Hotel das Amoreiras

This historic square dates back to the 18th century when the Marquis of Pombal decided to plant his first mulberry tree, ‘Amoreira’ in Portuguese a tree which was key to the manufacture of silk. The square is a favorite landmark amongst locals for its exclusive location where centuries of history, culture and architecture fuse together making it a unique and memorable experience.
