Phyllis' Musical Inn

It's been going strong since 1954, and it was in fact very first music venue in Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village. The acts that play here have a wide variety of styles so you'll be treated to a lot of different sounds, but in general it's mostly punk, evoking that 70s vibe with a modern kick. This is a true Chicago institution, and it's hard to imagine the city without it. Stop in while the memories are still being made. It's rare for a bar to last this long and remain so authentic.
