Pier One Sydney Harbour celebrates re-purposed heritage at every opportunity. Built in 1912 as a working cargo wharf and passenger terminal, the Pier One wharf was once the center of harbor life and trade in Sydney. The wharf was transformed into a hotel in 1998, and in 2014 became home to Pier One Sydney Harbour. A complete style refresh in 2019 by acclaimed architects Tonkin Zulaika Greer transformed our unique building into the five-star lifestyle hotel seen today, with 189 unique rooms, exuding history from the original flooring to heritage beams of the pier, resulting in a never-repeated stay for guests. Room objects are elevated from the floor and lit by ambient soft hues taking cues from the waterside location, creating a floating effect and sense of space, maintaining the maritime inspiration throughout each room.
