It's named after the International Zone in Baghdad and is a way to denote that this is a safe space for people to be themselves. It started as a pop-up bar in a kitchen off 14th St NW and existed as a pop up for 4 years first. We’re an award-winning bar, where you can focus on high-end craft-cocktails, independent spirits, and Middle Eastern flavors while working in a relaxed environment. Combining modern craft cocktails and mixology with the flavors of the Middle East, giving you drinks like the Saz'iraq, Lebanese No. 1, Janissary Corps, and our legendary Mint Lemonade & More. We don’t have dress codes, we turn the music up and welcome all people, and we pay our staff amongst the highest rates in the city, with solid benefits for full-time staff.
