Gashouder is located at Westergas. For many years, Westergas has been a household name in Amsterdam. In 2018, the Westergasfabriek buildings were renamed to Westergas. Same site, new energy: the Cultural Park of Amsterdam. Beyond cultural programming, Gashouder can be rented at select times during the year as a venue for large-scale corporate events. With a capacity of more than 3,500 visitors, the iconic circular monument in Cultural Park Westergas offers a rare combination of scale and intimacy. Opposite Gashouder stands the industrial De Wester, formerly known as the Transformatorhuis. As an event venue of 700 m², De Wester offers versatile possibilities with tailor-made packages for presentations, dinners, and corporate events for up to 770 guests.
