King William III intended this long, oak-panelled room for his personal use, before deciding to display an awesome set of ‘cartoons’ by the Renaissance master Raphael. Today, guests enjoy the wonderful 17th-century copies of Raphael’s originals, as well as views of fountains and colonnades in the courtyard below. Available for evening hire.
