Whether it’s boxed lunches for working through breaks, elegant hor d'oeuvres for making an impression, or a hearty sit-down dinner to cap off a productive day, our catering staff has it covered. Prompt and professional wait staff, crisp linens, elegant china and fresh flowers are among the additional options, depending on the type of event being planned. Just let us know what you have in mind, and we’ll put all the details in place.

The Wang audio visual and production staff consists of a full-time production manager, on-call professional technicians, and well-trained student assistants. Our technicians are extremely personable, friendly and ready to assist you with your needs here at the Wang Center & beyond. We look forward to working with you to execute a successful event here at Stony Brook!

All table and chair set ups are part of the rental cost. For safety reasons clients should not be setting up, re-arranging or breaking down space. Furniture cannot be used outside of the building. Should your event require items we cannot provide, the university works closely with Taylor Rental who offers university pricing and with the staff to schedule deliveries, set ups and breakdowns.

Our staffing is based on events, so we require a 5-business day cancellation in writing to [email protected]. Less than 5 business days or a no show results in a 10% cancellation fee.
