Los Galgos Bar

In 1948 Corrientes did not sleep between tangos, pizzerias, early mornings, and late nights; and the Ramos family jumped behind the Los Galgos counter. The bar saw Discépolo, Pugliese, de Caro, and Troilo enter and become a legend. After decades of service to the city, they chose another direction for their lives and the doors of Los Galgos closed for a time, but only to reopen and restart history. Los Galgos reopened its doors with the help of the gastronomic Julián Díaz and the designer and illustrator Flor Capella, both creators of the 878 bar. Not only did they rebuild the establishment with original materials, but they added their gastronomic career to create a new space, with the mystique as always but with a renewed spirit. At Los Galgos, quality is sought in every dish that reaches the table, people are received with respect and affection, and a place is built day by day that respects history without falling into nostalgia. Since December 1, 2015, the bar has opened to keep alive the flame that called to open that corner, to build a new stage, to make Los Galgos an authentic, noble, and memorable place.
