Hire all or part of Stardome, including telescopes! Our space includes the immersive full-dome planetarium theatre, gallery and exhibits space, the Space Room, and the Matariki Room. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we can tailor the experience to suit. Stardome offers: -The Stardome planetarium cinema: a unique 75-seat cinema space with comfortable reclined seats and a giant 360-degree domed screen above. -Two function rooms (The Space Room and The Matariki Room), which can be configured as you choose. -An engaging gallery and exhibits area. -Evening courtyard telescope viewing (weather permitting).

We have some great recommendations for catering. Just let us know your requirements and we’ll put you in touch with our favourite caterers. There is access to a private kitchen suitable for external catering staff to use. Please note we are unable to serve alcohol on site at Stardome.

Parking on premise
There is free parking outside Stardome or on Haydn Ave, off Manukau Road (a pathway connects Haydn Ave to Stardome). 90 minute parking is available in other areas of One Tree Hill Domain and Cornwall Park. If visiting in the evening, please be aware that the lower playground carpark (next to Manukau Road) is locked after 7pm. (The lower carpark and 90 minute parking areas are operated by Auckland Council, not Stardome).
