Rossio Gastrobar

Much more than a bar, Rossio is a gastrobar, with an incomparable view over Rossio square, the Castle and the river. It is located on the rooftop of the Altis Avenida Hotel and offers a very surprising food menu that invites you to share. In the kitchen is Chef João Correia, the Hotel's executive chef who leads the kitchen team. The creativity of this menu is not limited to the selection of dishes, but to all the detail in the choice of crockery and utensils created manually by artisans and designers such as Studioneves, the Walrus by Sara Bozzini or the wooden cutlery by Rival. Architects Cristina Santos e Silva and Ana Menezes Cardoso took advantage of the unique exposure of the Rossio Gastrobar in the heart of the city to privilege the outdoor space, integrating functional but comfortable furniture that guarantees the best view of the city. Inside, the transparency of the glass lets the view conquer us and the decor favors period materials that respect the history of the building.
