NS-Dokumentationszentrum München

The NS Documentation Center Munich, newly built in 2015, is located on the site of the former 'Brown House', the party headquarters of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). Between 1933 and 1945, an aesthetic showcase project of the dictatorship and a center of power with the headquarters of numerous administrative offices was created in the area surrounding Königsplatz. We deal critically with the history of this place and the historical importance of Munich as a former 'capital of the movement'. Based on the historical events before and during the Nazi dictatorship, their effects up to the present day are also documented. *The Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism does not rent out its rooms. The Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism only hosts events that we have initiated and organized ourselves or for which we act as cooperation partners and/or co-organizers.*
