Viktor Levi Şarap Evi
Cozy wine bar with a leafy terrace specializing in shared plates & classic mains.
Viktor Levi is the son of a sardine family from Gallipoli. He started grape wholesale in Bozcaada, where he went to buy sardines, and later started winemaking. While he was collecting his receivables from the places he brought sardines to Istanbul, he encountered a demand for wine. This is how he started wine wholesale. At this time, there were four actively working wineries in Istanbul. These are Pano, Diamandi, İzmirli and Sofaki. These winery owners say that we are the ones selling this wine the most and try to pay Viktor Levi as much as they want. Enraged by this, Viktor Levi opens his own winery to teach them a lesson with his inherited intelligence given by Judaism.
