Theater Des Westens

Located on Kantstrasse in the bustling district of Charlottenburg, the Stage Theater des Westens was established in 1895 as a venue solely dedicated to opera and operetta. It was renamed Volkstheater Berlin during Nazi times but later moved out due to the war. The 60s witnessed musical comedies and plays inserted into the repertoire. Since 2002, the 1,500 seat theatre has been managed by Stage Entertainment and often hosts awards ceremonies, parties and film presentations.
