Cultivation of wines began here as early as 1596, and a little later they were served in their own restaurant. There has always been an unwritten law here: before entering, you had to vacate your position. From then on you were neither prince nor servant, neither superior nor servant - just a simple soul looking for a bit of happiness. Times come and go. From the end of the 19th century up to the present day, the Muth family has continuously run the winery and the Heurigen - for four generations. Today Michael Landrichter is your host. Not a freshly caught one either, as he ran the traditional tavern “Dornbacher Pfarrer” for over 20 years. Because of him, Muth is always a little later than originally planned. What luck.
