Blue Door Bar

The Blue Door Arrowtown is a tucked away cocktail speakeasy-style bar. Hidden down an alleyway in the Goldmining town of Arrowtown, it's original shist walls, stone floor, and beautiful old fire place is loved by the locals and visitors alike. The Blue Door Bar was once a cold storage area for food back in the late 1800's - early 1900's. 30 years ago The Blue Door had the floor excavated so people could actually stand up inside it. It was then the idea of a 'hidden bar' was created. ​ Now the Blue Door is home to some of the regions finest and most unique entertainment, and partners with award winning restaurants Aosta and Little Aosta. The Blue Door has stone walls and floor, wooden beams and a beautiful old fire place to keep us all warm in winter.
