The Orangery

In January 2023, we embarked on an innovative conservation endeavour aimed at reinstating the roof of The Orangery to its original robust slate composition and is the first Grade 1 listed building to do something of this kind. Over the course of the last three centuries, The Orangery has fulfilled a diverse array of roles, morphing from a greenhouse and conservatory to a theatre, an art gallery, office spaces, and most recently, a restaurant and event space. Today, the culmination of our efforts unveils an extraordinary transformation. The Orangery, restored to its former glory, now embraces a captivating bar area along with the existing access to the adjoining terrace overlooking the Italian Gardens for a pre-dinner drinks reception. This light and airy room is an exclusive setting for drinks receptions for 200 or dinner parties, wedding receptions for 120 and much more.
