The Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna is one of Europe's oldest musical institutions. With its traditional classical music concerts in Bologna, in the Mozart Hall, the courses of high musical specialization, the research and dissemination projects, the enhancement of the historical archive and the library, the attention to contemporary music, and with the Mozart Orchestra, international excellence directed for ten years by Maestro Claudio Abbado and today under the guidance of Maestro Daniele Gatti, Today, after 355 years, the Academy continues to carry on its commitment to making music alive and a heritage for all.
