Gruet Winery sources its grapes from various vineyards in different regions of the United States, including New Mexico, Washington, and California. This cross-state blending allows for a more complex wine, with different terroirs contributing unique components to the final blend. The vineyards in New Mexico, with their high elevation, sandy loam soils, and natural pest control, provide an ideal starting ground for Gruet's sparkling wines. With a commitment to its New Mexico roots, Gruet also partners with the Pueblo of Santa Ana for the exclusive Tamaya Vineyard, where grapes are grown to the winemaking team's specifications.
