Villa Sauber is one of the last Belle Époque villas in Monaco. It belonged to the Blanc family in the early 1900s and played a fundamental role in the development of the Société des Bains de Mer and the Casino of Monte Carlo. The property was acquired by the London Police Courts and later became the National Museum of Monaco in 1972.
