Alte Kongresshalle
The special feature of the listed, convertible venue is its straightforward, simple, retro-futuristic architecture, which continues in the interior and defines the unique character of Munich's cultural heritage.
The Old Congress Hall has been a location for public and private events since it was built in 1952/53. The imposing, free-standing building on Theresienwiese in the heart of Munich was extensively renovated and technically modernized by the Edith Haberland Wagner Foundation in 2007, so that a wide variety of types of events can be individually implemented. The hall of the Old Congress Hall offers space for concerts, meetings or congresses. The gallery and gallery have an optimal ambience for smaller private or company celebrations and the impressive foyer in the entrance area offers a representative location for gala evenings, premieres or receptions.
