A magical and mythical outdoor scene, facing the sea. Built in 1945 in the heart of the Albert 1st garden, facing the sea, for more than half a century it has hosted the biggest names in song... Edith Piaf, Yves Montand, Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg. In the 80s, it was nicknamed the temple of rock with performances by "Clash", "Cure", "Iron Maiden", "Telephone", "Sting". Today, as in the past, this modular stage serves as a backdrop for a varied, open-air program, giving rise to unforgettable shows. The green theater offers shows and concerts of all types under the stars. The Théâtre de Verdure de Nice is an outdoor theater located in Nice, France, which was built in 1946 by architect François Aragon. It has a capacity of 1,850 seated or 3,200 standing.
