La Verdad Cafe was voted #1 in the state of New York in 2020 for having the Best Smoked Brisket and Burnt Ends. We are also known for our other smoked meats, Gouda Mac and Cheese, Bourban Yams, our vegetarian options, and more. The owner, Vivian Robinson, has been cooking and baking for over 30 years. In 2018, the Robinsons decided to open up a Smoked BBQ Cafe in the Lovejoy area. Within four years of being in business, La Verdad Cafe was featured in Yelp, Business Insider, Buy Back Buffalo, a cooking competition called 'Rat in the Kitchen,' Buffalo Spree, and more.
