The Sovereign

The Sovereign is located in the vibrant Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. and offers a menu defined by classic, ingredient-driven Belgian dishes that draw on French, German and Dutch cooking techniques and traditions. Specially sourced Dutch-style mussels, traditional flammekuchen (crispy flatbreads), and braises and stews such as Lapin a la Kriek (rabbit braised in cherry beer) alongside other classic, regional dishes serve as the core of the seasonally changing menu. ​ The Sovereign features 50 drafts and more than 350 bottles meticulously curated by Beverage Director, Greg Engert.
