The straight-lined, alpine interior made of local wood and the furnishings bear the signature of the renowned Engadin architect Hans-Jörg Ruch. The original Engadin farmhouse from the 16th century was a farm and warehouse. The mighty building on the Inn served as an inn from an early stage and also offered sleeping accommodation for muleteers and travelers.
