AURORA BOUTIQUE HOTEL AND SPA

In 1957 the Aurora Inn opened. This new opening happened alongside the famous Festival dei Due Mondi brought to life by Maestro Menotti. The Festival led artists musicians writers painters sculptors scientists aristocrats and politicians to Spoleto. Many of them have been guests of the Aurora Inn due to its fortunate location in the historical centre close to the theatres. The hotels building can be found within the old Roman walls that were part of a XII-century ex Franciscan convent where the consecrated Egidio a friend of Saint Francis stayed.
