Spruceton Inn

This land was part of the seasonal hunting territory for the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy) and Mohicans. The earliest written accounts we have are from a Dutch family —the VanVulkenburghs— who built the farmhouse we live in now in the late 1700s. Since then the property has had many incarnations, from a farm to a B&B to The Schwarzenegger's Sunshine Valley House. Yup. That Schwarzenegger. Want the whole story?
