Anyone have a cool, hip vibe DJ to use for a tech event in the bay area?
is there any preffered music you are looking for? I have a couple of ladies who DJ, one is more pop and another is making her own music, very cool and somewhat hous-y. I can ask if they are available and to share their playlists. Both are in SF.
TBH we need a versatile DJ if possible

but I will ask Mai if she’s open to other styles
I've worked with DJ Manny on multiple projects and he can definitely hype the crowd up and go as big (or as mellow) as you need him to!
DJ Skemaddox is making a name for himself across a variety of events in the tech space - he also does residency gigs in Vegas but I love him. He's an incredibly versatile DJ that really gets into the gig with us to understand the client's genre and music preferences. We've done in person and virtual events with him. http://www.skemaddox.com/
He's based in LA but will travel anywhere.
I’m available to fly anywhere for events! pm me to discuss @EventPlanner229
I’m an open format, versatile DJ as my side gig. Been DJing since 2006.
I loved working with DJ Hey Love - she's in the bay area and I sent her a playlist of ~50 songs and she was able to create a 4+ hour set inspired by that
Her email is: heyLove* aka Melissa Rae <[email hidden]>
Wow - love all the suggestions. Thank you SO much!
Dj Martin is the best
DJ Aykut is great - https://www.aykutevents.com/djservices/
Anyone have a DJ that works on virtual events? Looking for fun entertainment for an awards ceremony.
Looking for restaurant recommendations that are open on a Sunday night (7:30 PM), mid-to-upscale for ~9 people in San Francisco (ideally downtown-ish area). Some of the places I've found that look great aren't open on Sundays!

Hello!
I’m searching for distinctive venues in San Francisco for an event in November. They should have the capacity to host more than 400 attendees. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Looking for a venue in Silicon Valley (probably not as far down as San Jose) for about 30 C-suite executives. Can be a restaurant (buyout or private room), cultural institution, winery, etc. Open to any high-end ideas. Thanks!
I am looking for a premium/high end event space for about 100 people for a one day event in November that also has space for breakouts in San Francisco. Not sure if anyone knows of any private spots or function space that would be accommodating to a small group with plenty of space for smaller group meetings.
Hi everyone! Does anyone have any venue recommendations in San Francisco (capacity: 3,000)?
LA - Looking for an indoor/outdoor venue for ~200 guests for a nonprofit event this fall. The Fig House is a good reference. City Market Social House would be too big. & Valentine is a bit too designed. Would love something in West Hollywood!
Looking for a great SF restaurant private room, ideally 30-50 people. Needs to be fully private (not open to the main room of a restaurant).
Hi everyone! Looking for a venue in Los Angeles that isn't a hotel for an AI event for between 250-300 people - let me know if anything comes to mind - thank you 🙂
Hey guys! I’m looking for smaller venues in LA for a corporate networking event. It’s an afternoon event with presentations followed by a cocktail hour. I think the capacity should be for 50-100 ppl. The client tends to like trendy, colorful and out of the ordinary venues rather than hotel conference rooms. In-House AV setup is a plus. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! 😊
Looking for venues in Los Angeles! Looking for something chic that can accommodate up to 100 seated! Thanks 🙏
More SF & LA questions for you all!
1. SF: Need 2 locations for a roundtable of 20-25 people that will serve breakfast or lunch. Prefer a restaurant, but am def open to hotel or meeting venue. (April 15 & 16). (I found this SF thread from a few weeks ago, but I think we have a little more budget than Wendy!)
2. LA: Need 2 dinner locations for April 16 & 17, about 15pax each dinner. Looking in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area for Tuesday & Santa Monica/West Side area for Wednesday. Something nice, and quiet enough that it will allow for conversation (business dinners with potential clients).
Hey all! Does anyone have an AV company they love in the Bay area/ Silicon Valley area? We are doing an event at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay and I would love to not use their in-house offering...thanks!

Hello, all! I'm looking for recommendations for a cool space in Los Angeles venue (Hollywood, WeHo, Culver City, DTLA, Mid-City) to host a networking reception (100-150 ppl). Preferably a venue has both indoor and outdoor space. The place that was used pre-pandemic is now closed so it would be great to find something similar. https://www.theparlorhollywood.com/
Hi! Does anyone have rental companies they love in LA? Looking to source a brass gold bar amongst other items.

Hi friends, Thank you for the NY recommendations! I am looking for a LA/West Hollywood venue that can hold 60-ish people for a half day event in the afternoon. Like 1-6 PM-ish. Any recos on venues or even what area of town to push over another? I'm pretty open.
