The new motorola razr+ was unveiled during an exclusive, one-of-a-kind, mind-bending launch event: Unforgettable Launch of an Icon, featuring an exhilarating performance by Cirque du Soleil and music by GRAMMY award-winning artist Kim Petras on Thursday, June 1st 2023. The event was a celebration of self-expression and unapologetic, bold color that invited media and influencers to flip the script and challenge the norm while celebrating the creation of an icon at the legendary Weylin in Williamsburg. The night kicked off with a custom and exclusive Cirque du Soleil performance inspired by, and fully integrating, the new razr+. We transformed the main rotunda of the Weylin into an immersive Cirque du Soleil and Motorola theater – including two stages surrounding guests, a large LED backdrop, and custom aerial rigging flying above, creating a truly unique guest experience. Cirque du Soleil mesmerized guests throughout the show and officially revealed the new razr+. By bending the rules of gravity & perspective, Cirque du Soleil created an incredible display of human potential, with a blend of acrobatics & technology weaving a narrative inspired by and featuring the creation of the razr+. Following the device reveal and performance, as performers took their last bows, a large curtain in the theater dramatically opened, magically unveiling the Weylin’s oculus dome event space.
