Congregational Church of Belmont
Our church welcomes the opportunity to be of service to members of our wider community. Rooms may be rented by the hour for parties, weddings, meetings, or other events.
The historic building that houses the Congregational Church of Belmont was built on its hilltop setting as the clubhouse for the Belle Monti Country Club in the early 1920s. The main floor is totally handicapped-accessible with an elevator from the north parking lot, a ramp to the front door and an appropriate bathroom off the parlor.
We do our best to maintain our building as a “green” environment. We compost wet paper and food products and recycle plastic, paper and cans. We also encourage our renters to use our china and silverware, and we don’t permit the use of Styrofoam or single-use plastic utensils in the building. We have biodegradable single-use dinnerware available for purchase.
