Klassikstadt

Klassikstadt is located in a monumental factory building from 1910 - originally built for the Mayfarth agricultural machinery factory. The factory complex impresses with the completely preserved historic brick facade with beautiful arched windows. Together with other expressive outbuildings, a spacious outdoor area and a green area, the area of ​​approx. 20,000 square meters forms an impressive ensemble. The building is part of the Industrial Heritage Route . The factory building has been on Orber Strasse in the east of Frankfurt for 100 years. It survived two wars unscathed and served a wide variety of purposes: from the production of agricultural machinery to the federal printing office of 50 DM notes to the storage of federal customs uniforms.
