New York City Center

The historic studios at New York City Center are ideal spaces for dance, music, and theater. Our unique studios have served the professional theater and dance community for decades. Located at 130 West 56th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, the City Center studios are appropriate for rehearsals, classes, auditions, studio showings, and workshops. An historic venue with state-of-the-art facilities, New York City Center’s Mainstage Theater is available for daily and weekly rental by performing arts companies, concert promoters, fundraisers, business meeting planners, and others for a variety of special presentations both public and private. The theater accommodates a maximum seating capacity of 2,257. (The orchestra pit seats 71, the orchestra seats 608, the Grand Tier seats 209, the mezzanine seats 617, and the balcony seats 752.)
