Ambassador Theatre
Whether you’re looking for your first Broadway musical, whether you’ve seen the Academy Award®-winning film and want to experience the show live onstage, or whether you’ve seen it before and want to recapture the magic, Chicago always delivers.
The Ambassador Theatre was built by the Shuberts in 1921 as part of their rapid expansion after World War I. Although the Shubert Organization no longer operates the other three theaters they constructed on 48th and 49th Streets, the Ambassador Theatre continues to thrive.
