About
Opened in September 2008, the $7 million, 22,000-square-foot performing arts venue features a 140-seat recital hall, a 100-seat black box theater, green room and dressing room space and state-of-the-art recording equipment. In addition, the Caplan Center houses classrooms and creative learning spaces for students in the University’s Ira Brind School of Theater Arts as well as the School of Music.
