Open since 2011 and located on the campus of CSUN, Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for The Performing Arts (The Soraya/formerly the Valley Performing Arts Center) serves as the intellectual and cultural heart of the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, providing vibrant and relevant programming for the region’s communities. The Soraya presents a broad range of local, national and international artists each season; from classical, jazz, big band, and Latin and Mexican regional music concerts to dance, theater, and family programming in its state-of-the-art Great Hall with 1,700 seats as well as the 500-seat Plaza del Sol Performance Hall.
