Good Morning! Have any of your planned /executed private group events in any of the Walt Disney World (Orlando) parks before? I've got a dinner and buyout of 2 attractions planned in Epcot for 600 (Contract signed and site visit complete). They've been great so far but since this is my first time working an event in their park and with their catering team I don't know what I don't know and would appreciate any tips of things I _should_ know that they may not tell you in advance. If you've thought "if only I knew that sooner" - I want to know! Would love to connect with anyone who can offer advice. Thank you!
@Unknown just did I believe
Thank you Daphne!
Are there specific things you are curious about or worried about for your event?
In our experience, the catering at WDW properties have well established practices when hosting private events and groups.
This is super efficient - they know what they are doing. But it can also mean not as much flexibility to customize or veer too far from their menus.
That said, we've done events with WDW in both Orlando and LA -- all great experiences for our guests. Maybe a little rigid behind the scenes but nothing visible to the event attendees.
I will say this - ask questions - lots of them. Don't assume anything. It's much better to over communicate with them.
Happy to dive in further on specifics if you like.
@EventPlanner639 Agree with @EventPlanner697 on all points. Also get specific and detailed on if you want to incorporate any characters/ licensing and branding opportunities.
We got many nos when trying to develop creative.
Thank you @EventPlanner697 and @EventPlanner591this is very helpful! Good to know. appreciate your replies. I am going to send a side message to you now.

LA - Looking for an indoor/outdoor venue for ~200 guests for a nonprofit event this fall. The Fig House is a good reference. City Market Social House would be too big. & Valentine is a bit too designed. Would love something in West Hollywood!
Hi everyone! Looking for a venue in Los Angeles that isn't a hotel for an AI event for between 250-300 people - let me know if anything comes to mind - thank you 🙂
Hey guys! I’m looking for smaller venues in LA for a corporate networking event. It’s an afternoon event with presentations followed by a cocktail hour. I think the capacity should be for 50-100 ppl. The client tends to like trendy, colorful and out of the ordinary venues rather than hotel conference rooms. In-House AV setup is a plus. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! 😊
Looking for venues in Los Angeles! Looking for something chic that can accommodate up to 100 seated! Thanks 🙏

Hello, all! I'm looking for recommendations for a cool space in Los Angeles venue (Hollywood, WeHo, Culver City, DTLA, Mid-City) to host a networking reception (100-150 ppl). Preferably a venue has both indoor and outdoor space. The place that was used pre-pandemic is now closed so it would be great to find something similar. https://www.theparlorhollywood.com/
Hi! Does anyone have rental companies they love in LA? Looking to source a brass gold bar amongst other items.
Hi friends, Thank you for the NY recommendations! I am looking for a LA/West Hollywood venue that can hold 60-ish people for a half day event in the afternoon. Like 1-6 PM-ish. Any recos on venues or even what area of town to push over another? I'm pretty open.

More SF & LA questions for you all!
1. SF: Need 2 locations for a roundtable of 20-25 people that will serve breakfast or lunch. Prefer a restaurant, but am def open to hotel or meeting venue. (April 15 & 16). (I found this SF thread from a few weeks ago, but I think we have a little more budget than Wendy!)
2. LA: Need 2 dinner locations for April 16 & 17, about 15pax each dinner. Looking in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area for Tuesday & Santa Monica/West Side area for Wednesday. Something nice, and quiet enough that it will allow for conversation (business dinners with potential clients).

Hi! Looking for a luxury resort in the US (East Coast, California, Arizona or Texas) that is roughly 200-400 rooms in size for a multi-day conference. any ideas for fun group activities near LA Live/DTLA? working with a corporate group that historically loves bowling (already inquired with lucky strike) & karaoke, but would love to show them something unexpected if possible
LA question — does anyone know of any conference centers in LA that are good for events (with breakout space) — kind of like Convene in New York? I am not familiar w/ any, but I thought those of you who are LA based might have some ideas. Looking for some other venue ideas (beyond hotels) for a program that requires breakout space, in addition to general session + meals. Neuehouse’s breakout space is a little too small. Want to make sure I haven’t left any stones unturned.
Looking for an affordable florist for a dinner - part of a sales kick off in LA. The event is at the JW Marriott LA Live. Not a huge budget - $6K. Need centerpieces for the high boys (10-15) during the reception and about 50 dinner tables. Anyone have any favorites? The event is January 31. Thank you in advance!!
Hi all! I’m looking for an outdoor, family friendly, park or outdoor venue to host a 1000+ person soccer watch party with big screen / sponsor activations in Los Angeles.
