Where to Host a Swanky VC Investor Day in Midtown NYC?

NYC friends: I’m hosting a VC annual investor day at Neuehouse oand looking for an addt happy hour venue in Midtown for 55-60 guests on Oct 24🗽 The vibe we’re going for is swanky, non-corporate with options to bring a “food design” caterer + photobooth. Sample venues we’ve looked at: The Ned, Maxwell Social, Fotografiska, Rare Book Room @ the Strand. Thank you!

@EventPlanner467 out of curiosity, what space are you using in Neuehouse? We did an event at the cinema space downstairs yesterday and very much to our surprise, the renovation that was promised to be done by early September was not finished. For example, the downstairs toilets were out of use and filled with construction material. I did the last site check about 10 days ago and was promised that everything will be done by our event. We managed to pull it off by blocking the access to the toilets but I have never experienced anything like this before. So, if you’re planning for the Cinema room downstairs, I wanted to give you a headsup to follow up with them often and make sure it’s ready.

Which Modern Venues Offer In-House Catering for Large Events?

Hi All - what are your favorite venues that have in house catering? Looking for venues that seat around 120 people for dinner and still have room for a stage, step and repeat, and maybe a 10x10 sponsor activation. Usually we work in raw, blank spaces and bring in catering but this budget wont allow so we are open to suggestions. Looking for somehtign super modern and chic. Ideally trying to stay away from old school venues like Ciprani, etc... Think Soho House chic.

Is Maxwell Social Club a Good Choice for NYC Events?
