Yes thank you! Reality is there're only a handful for 800 seated and fortune 500 companies don't blink at 300k to walk in the door.

Marriott Marquis? I can’t remember exactly where they max out, but I’ve done at least 500 there with room to spare.

Also Ziegfeld Ballroom, if you don’t need breakouts.

Ziegfeld Ballroom is the best! When I worked for ARC we hosted all of our galas there.

There is also the Edison Ballroom. I believe it was remodeled recently.

@EventPlanner550 if you don't mind more trad spaces, both Sheraton and Hilton Midtown both have large ballrooms that can accommodate and it would not be a full house rental.

We've also talked to Live Nation rentals before for Radio City and The Theatre at MSG and I felt their rentals were reasonable based on the time of year you are looking at booking and what they already have scheduled.

We shy away from those as innovation and hotel ballrooms don't mix well.

Current front-runner is Pier 60. A little smaller than we'd like but there are always trade-offs.

Which Large Event Venues are Recommended in Midtown Manhattan?

Hi all - looking for an NYC venue for next fall. Sizeable networking space, 500pax plenary, at least 6 breakout spaces, and ideally catering in-house. Needs to be between 3rd ave and 8th (maaaybe 9th) in mid-town Manhattan. We've previously done this event at ETC venues 360 Madison full buyout.

Already considering Hilton and Marriott Marquis. Thank you!!

Where to Find Large Party Venues in Manhattan with Catering?

Hi all — does anyone have reccos of party venues that fit ~900 people? Few notes:

• Targeting Manhattan

• Huge pro if they have in-house catering

• Looking for something more laid back (bar, restaurant) vs a Cipriani/Tao/Capitale. We were at Pier60 this year, which was great, but we like to switch it up 🙂

I'm looking for venues in NY and LA that have space for a half or full day conference for 200-250 people with room for breakouts and production space. Hello! I’m looking for a venue/space (could be a restaurant or a hotel meeting room) near Hilton Midtown NYC for 20-30 people for breakfast. Has to offer to-go option too.
